We are delighted to share the news that Central Foundation Boys School has been nominated for Music Department of the Year at the Music & Drama Education Awards 2026.

One of our music department team, Mr Sibley, has also been nominated for Instrumental or Vocal Teacher of the Year.

The National Theatre’s Connections Programme in which the Boys School participated has also been nominated for Outstanding Drama initiative of the year award.

The Music & Drama Education Awards 2026 celebrate the extraordinary contribution made by professionals, schools, companies, charities and other organisations to the lives of others through the medium of these two keys performing arts. Winners are chosen by a prominent panel of expert judges who have the knowledge and expertise to reward the extraordinary talent, projects, organisations, and products of this rich and diverse sector.

The school are up against eight other leading Music Departments, with the winners to be announced on Thursday 12th February 2026.
